The hotel, designed by architect Kim Utzon, is smart and stylish with focus on functionality and design. The inviting rooms of 12-15 m2 include air conditioning, flat-screen TVs, workspace and free wireless internet.

Stay at a central location with furniture designed by some of Denmark’s best furniture manufacturers. The hotel is comparable to many of Copenhagen's 3 and 4-star hotels but is priced at the level of a 2-star hotel.

Wakeup Copenhagen Carsten Niebuhrs Gade is a perfect choice if you would like to stay central for less money. The hotel is next door to Tivoli Hotel & Congress Center and is within walking distance of Tivoli Gardens, Rådhuspladsen, Strøget, the harbour bath Islands Brygge and Copenhagen Central Station. The area has several parking facilities and is close to trains and buses.

Environmental efforts

Green Key member since 2009 and part of Arp Hansen's overall environmental efforts.

The Wakeup concept is a good choice for the environment, as the hotels use LED lighting, key cards and sensors that limit energy consumption. All four hotels encourage guests and staff to sort waste, minimise single-person linen, reduce plastic service and products and purchase high-end organic food.
