The history of the Best Western Plus Hotel Eyde can be traced back to 1839, when the hotel was the only third building in Herning.
In 1856, however, Christiansminde Kro was sold to John Eyde, who was to play a significant role in the development in and around the inn. Eyde showed his foresight on several occasions, but one of his most notable initiatives was when he donated the building site to Herning Church to the city.
This privately owned hotel is located in the center of Herning, just 200 meters from the MCH Herning Congress Center. The hotel offers a gym and sauna, as well as free Wi-Fi and parking.
The hotel's Restaurant Sankt Jørgen serves traditional Danish dishes as well as seasonal specialties in a very cozy and atmospheric setting. It offers great views of the city, also from Hotel Eyde's terrace, which is open during the warmer months.
